Guided Tours

We’re delighted that you’ll be joining us on a guided tour of the Rosenbach brothers’ 19th-century townhouse to explore our founders’ collection of rare books, manuscripts, decorative arts, and more. Highlights of the collection include holdings from James Joyce, Bram Stoker, Lewis Carroll, Phillis Wheatley, Joseph Conrad, Charles Dickens, Cervantes, George Washington, and countless others. We’re pleased to share that our new Gift Shop is also open and available to visit during regular public hours! Also, admission to our new permanent collection gallery Treasures from the Rosenbach’s Collection: Literature of Great Britain & Ireland is included with your tour ticket.

Self-Guided Tours
On Saturdays from 11:00am to 6:00pm and Sundays from 11:00am to 4:30pm, The Rosenbach will be open for self-guided exploration.
This self-guided tour is designed to be experienced through the Bloomberg Connects app. You can find more information about the free app and a link to download on this page. We recommend bringing headphones. You can also access the web version of the tour on this page. Booklets will also be available on-site. Also, admission to our new permanent collection gallery Treasures from the Rosenbach’s Collection: Literature of Great Britain & Ireland is included with your tour ticket.

Group Tours (Including College Students)
Group tours for larger groups of 10 to 24 people are available during our regular open hours and tour times as space and availability allows. If you would prefer a tour outside of those times, there will be an additional after-hours fee.
Your experience will be delivered by one of our expert Rosenbach guides who will provide an introductory tour through the historic house of the Rosenbach brothers at 2010 Delancey Place, the history of Rosenbach brothers themselves, and the personal library of Dr. A.S.W. Rosenbach which houses hundreds of rare books and manuscripts. The tour also includes access to our Treasures gallery space. The house tour takes about an hour.
We ask that you request your group tour 30 days in advance. Please provide no less than 48 hours notice in the event of a cancellation.
Historic house tour (open hours): $15/person
Historic house tour (after-hours): $350 plus $15/person
